Dorothy (Ray) Davis-Clark

Dorothy (Ray) Davis-Clark was called to heaven on Wednesday April 13th 2022. Dorothy was born in Baltimore, MD on January 30th 1943 to Norma Shipley Ray and Russell Walden Ray. Then came sister Virgina Mason (preceded by). After the death of her mother she gained a bonus Mom (Frances Ray) and  sister Teresa Sipes (survived by) and brother Russell T. Ray (preceded by) were born.  She attended Arundel High School, moved, and then graduated from Mt. Airy High School in 1961. Dorothy attended Towson University where she obtained her bachelor's degree (teaching) in 1963. She later earned her Masters degree (Director Of Christian Education) in 1966 from Scarritt College in Nashville, Tennessee.  Dorothy met and married James E. Davis (preceded by) and had two children James Scott Davis (preceded by) and Dana Ray Davis (Stafford). After the death of her first husband Jim she later met and married James Roger Clark (preceded by). Rodger had three sons James Roger Clark II (wife Karen Clark), Keith Clark and Mark Clark. She is Survived by daughter Dana Ray Stafford; son in law Willy Stafford, daughter in law Pamela Davis (wife of James Scott Davis). Dorothy was a devoted “Grandma” to grandchildren Ashley Hamilton, Sydney L’Heureux (Davis), Madison Hamilton, Nicholas Stafford, Andrew Stafford and Jonathan Clark. Dorothy is also survived by brother in law Kenneth Sipes (wife Teresa Sipes) and sister in law Karen Ray (wife Russell T Ray), nieces, nephews, great grands and cousins. Dorothy devoted her life to God by serving and loving people.  She was such a “RAY” of sunshine that was full of love and grace.
