Doris Lorraine Kittle, 88, a resident of Chester, MD for 4 years and formerly of Pasadena, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Arcadia Assisted Living in Denton.
Mrs. Kittle was born June 25, 1933 in Simpson, WV to the late David and Lillie Goodwin. She worked part time in retail but mainly devoted her time to being a dedicated homemaker. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Glen Burnie where she was a part of the Women's Group Bible Study. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and going out to dinner. Every fall, she would take trips to Myrtle Beach with her husband and their trailer to meet with friends and enjoy the beach. They also had a place in Florida that they would frequent in their spare time. A dedicated Christian woman, Mrs. Kittle was also described as determined, loving and kind.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kittle is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Junior Kittle. She is survived by her sons James Kittle (Sarah), David Eugene Kittle, daughter Pamela "Pam" Jenkins (Mark), 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Friends may call Friday, May 20th from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Glen Haven Memorial Park immediately following services at the Funeral Home.
