Donna Hudson Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Joy Hudson, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Donna was born on Tuesday, July 30, 1946, in Sioux City, Iowa. She peacefully departed this life on Sunday, August 10, 2025, in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Donna was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to nurturing and caring for her family. Her warmth and kindness were evident to all who knew her, and her legacy will live on through her loved ones.

Donna is survived by her cherished children: Dan, Wendy, and Tom Jr. (Cheryl), and Tammy, who was like a daughter to her; her adored grandchildren, Melanie, Krystal, Brandon, Gage, Caleb, and Kevin; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Liam, Rylee, and Mackenzie. She also leaves behind her siblings: Hans Jr. (Butchie), Judy, and Bruce. Donna was preceded in death by her loving parents, Hans Marquis Larson Sr. and Eleanor Freda Larson, her dear husband, Thomas Edward Hudson Sr., and her siblings, Gloria, Marylyn, Gary, Gerald (Corky), and Darwin (Dude).

Donna's passions extended beyond her family. She bowled for many years with her dear husband. She found joy in dancing with her grandchildren and was an avid fan of the Orioles and the Ravens. Her creativity shone during the holiday season with her beautifully decorated Christmas trees, each adorned with unique themes. Donna also had a fondness for crossword puzzles and coloring and discovered new joys in her later years playing on her tablet.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 am at the same location. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.
