It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Donald Fake, III, a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. Born on Friday, November 7th, 1975, in Baltimore, Maryland, Donnie departed from this world on Friday, October 11th, 2024, at the age of 48.
Throughout his life, Donnie was known for his dedication to his work and his passions. For 23 years, he devoted himself as a pressman at Tri-State Envelope, where he was respected for his expertise and commitment to excellence. Despite the demands of his job, Donnie always found time to indulge in his beloved hobbies. An avid fan of rock and roll, he was often found playing air drums with vigor and enthusiasm. He cherished the tranquility of fishing, spent countless evenings watching scary movies, and enjoyed lively poker games with his cherished friends.
Donnie leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly. He is survived by his devoted wife of 21 years, Amanda Fake, who stood by his side through all of life’s journeys. He is also remembered by his father, Donald Fake, Jr., and his wife Deborah; his mother, Catherine Fake; his siblings, Jessica Scranton, Justin Schwinn, and Jeremy Schwinn; and his paternal grandmother, Beverly Fake. Donnie was a proud godfather to Dustin, Aidan, and Sophia.
To celebrate the life of Donald Fake, III an afternoon visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland. An evening visitation will follow, taking place from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The memorial service will begin at 8:00 pm, where family and friends will gather to share memories and honor a life well-lived.
Donnie’s passion for life touched the hearts of those who knew him. Though he has left this world, his spirit will remain in the memories and hearts of everyone privileged to have known him.
