Donald Vincent McKenny, 87, longtime resident of Pasadena, Maryland, passed away on August 16, 2025 at Hospice of the Chesapeake.
Born in Baltimore on August 20, 1937 to Karolyn P. (Maydwell) and Clayton T. McKenny Sr., Donald was a graduate of Glen Burnie High School and University of Baltimore. After serving his country in the Army Reserves, Donald enjoyed a long career in corporate finance.
In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by his brothers, Clayton McKenny Jr. (Jane) & John McKenny, brothers-in-law Carl Retz Jr. (Barbara) & William Retz Sr. (Anna), nephew Wayne Retz, and niece Lorraine Vecchioni (Arthur).
Donald is survived by his wife of 65 years, Janet McKenny, daughter Karen Olson (Steven), Grandson Emmett McKenny (Elle), nephews Robert McKenny (Jane), Richard McKenny (Carolyn), & Brian Retz, nieces Charlene Hines (Edgar), Kathlene Sikorski (Stephen), Carol Loviza (Thomas), & Katherine Retz, sister-in-law Joyce Binick (Robert), grand and great-grand nieces & nephews, cousins, dear friends, and caring neighbors.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, Maryland 21122. Funeral services will begin at 10am on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Stallings, followed by internment at Moreland Memorial Park in Parkville.
