It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Densil Pressley, age 87, of Glen Burnie, Maryland. Densil passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3, 2024. Born on March 30, 1937, in Cullowhee, North Carolina, he was a devoted family man whose legacy will be cherished by all who knew him.
Densil is survived by his sons, Keith Pressley and his wife Jane, and James Pressley and his wife Cheryl; sisters, Geneva and Marjory Pressley; brother Ronald Pressley; and a host of beloved grandchildren including Christina, Richard, David, Jonathan, Rachel, Elizabeth, James, Taylor, as well as six great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
He was preceded in death by his dear wife, Frances Pressley, as well as his parents, Bowers and Laura Pressley, his brother Herbert Pressley, and his sisters Bernice and Rachel.
An industrious worker, Densil dedicated many years to his career in General Motors, where he built a reputation for his expertise and strong work ethic.
A visitation will be held at Faith Baptist Church, Glen Burnie, Maryland, on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 am. Interment will take place immediately following funeral services at Lakeview Memorial Park. Friends and family are invited to join us in honoring and remembering the life of a remarkable man who touched so many hearts.
Densil Pressley will be remembered for his enduring warmth, steadfast spirit, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and he will be profoundly missed.
