Della Ann Smith

Della Ann Smith, 78, a 30 year resident of Pasadena and formerly of Glen Burnie died on August 23, 2023 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

She was born on July 11, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Donald and Ora West.  Mrs. Smith was a bookkeeper for Stiller Appliances for over 40 years, retiring in 2014.  She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 2462 and the Vintage Tin of Maryland Car Club with her husband.  In her free time Mrs. Smith enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, bowling and crocheting.  

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers Charles West, Harold West and Carl West.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years  Gil Smith; her sons Timothy Stevenson and his wife Karen, Richard Stevenson, and John Stevenson and his wife Jennifer; her step-son Lawrence Cate; her sister Inez Calder;  twelve grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Friends may visit on Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm and on Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 am at the Stallings Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:30 am.  Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross by clicking HERE
