Deborah K. Arcand

Deborah K. Arcand (71), a resident of Pasadena, MD, and formerly of Golden Beach, MD, went home to be with her Lord on May 25, 2021. Debbie was born on July 2, 1949, in Washington D.C. the fourth of five children to the late Byron and Lillian Lawrence.

Debbie was a committed follower of Jesus Christ and spent her life telling others about her Saviour.  Through the years, she enjoyed serving in various ministries at her church including teaching the young girls' Sunday School class. Debbie retired early from UFCW after nearly 20 years of employment to care for her mother, Lillian Lawrence, whom she loved dearly.  She was a loving and faithful wife, an adored mother, and a proud Memere to her two grandchildren.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and her eldest sister, Gladys Cereghin.

She is survived by her incredibly devoted husband of 52 years, Paul J. Arcand, who faithfully and compassionately cared for her throughout her final stages of Alzheimer's Disease. She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul & Amber Arcand II;  her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Mike Eidlin; grandson, Jeffrey Eidlin; granddaughter, Emma Arcand; her sisters, Layne Kuster, Deanna Gunther; and brother, Jeff Lawrence.

A Homegoing service will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, located at 195 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 5:30 PM and the service will follow at 7:00 PM. The service will be live streamed on Facebook (click HERE) and YouTube (click HERE).

Interment at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville will take place on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at 11:30 AM.
