Dawn Elaine Crabtree

Dawn Elaine Crabtree, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on Thursday, April 16th, 2026. Dawn was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on Wednesday, July 1st, 1959, to the late John and Josephine Anderson.

Dawn was a radiant presence in the lives of all who knew her, embodying warmth, kindness, and generosity. A devoted family woman, she is survived by her loving husband, Donald Eugene Crabtree; her cherished daughters: Carrie Crabtree Huffman and Megan Perry (Matt); her dear siblings: Roxanne Shaffer (Dave), Frank Anderson (Kelly), and Kimberly Stevers (Ron); her treasured grandchildren: Jay Huffman, Grace Wilt, and Larke Perry; nieces and nephews: Kristin Wells (Katie) and their son Andy, Lauren Arcoraci (Chris) and their children Gavin and Addison, Frankie Anderson (Ashley), Katelyn Anderson (Jake Hunsberger), Elaina Stevers (Wes Cope), Evan Stevers (Lauren Gongon). She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Josephine Anderson.

For 33 years, Dawn dedicated her professional life to serving others as a radiology tech assistant at Advanced Radiology, where she was known for her caring nature and professionalism. Her commitment to her community extended beyond her work. Dawn was an active member of her local church at St. John's Lutheran Church and loved spending time along the sandy shores of Ocean City and the beach, activities that fueled her vibrant and social spirit. Dawn's light-filled presence was like a beacon in any room she entered, known for her welcoming nature and her ability to make everyone feel at ease.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dawn's life during an afternoon visitation at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland, on Thursday, April 23rd, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and an evening visitation from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Linthicum Heights, Maryland, on Friday, April 24th, 2026, at 11:00 am. Interment will take place immediately following the funeral service at Meadowridge Memorial Park.

Dawn Elaine Crabtree was a beautiful person, whose light and laughter will be deeply missed but forever cherished by all who had the fortune to know her.
