David William Murphy, 83, a 56 year resident of Pasadena and formerly of Baltimore, Maryland, died on Monday, April 11, 2022 at the Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Mr. Murphy was born on Monday, November 28th, 1938 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Cornelius and Stella Murphy. He worked as a Produce Manager for Pantry Pride for over 28 years and Lauer's Super Market for 35 years until his retirement. Outside of work, David was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Pasadena. In his free time, he enjoyed attending Orioles baseball games, watching the Colts and Ravens, playing Sudoku, and sitting on his porch reading the newspaper and watching the birds. He also loved spending time with his grandsons. David will be remembered as an ornery, but generous man who always had a smile on his face.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Murphy is preceded in death by his brother, Gilbert Murphy. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 1/2 years, Eileen Murphy; daughter, Lisa (Craig) Pervola of Stevensville and formerly of Pasadena; and 3 grandchildren, Ryan (Brittney Foster), Patrick (Ashley), and Neil (Cate).
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 9, 2022 from 5-9 p.m. at Beefalo Bob's Reflections Hall, 8015 Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena. Interment private.
