David W. Hutt, 85, a resident of Pasadena, MD for over 60 years, died on June 5, 2021 at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Spa Creek in Annapolis, MD.
Mr. Hutt was born in 1936 in London, England to the late William and Elizabeth Hutt. While a young man in England, he served in the Royal Air Force. In 1957, he immigrated to the United States and eventually began a career as a draftsman with Whitney, Baily, Cox & Magnani LLC in Timonium. David served as Assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 829 in Jacobsville in the early 1970’s, and even spent some time playing semi-pro soccer. After retiring in 1998, he enjoyed traveling, spending time in Ocean City, going to his grandchildren’s sporting events, watching soccer on T.V., and working in the yard.
Mr. Hutt is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Sharon L. Hutt; sons, Christopher (Julie) and Jeffrey (Debbie) Hutt of Pasadena; stepson, Robert Bradley (Tiffiany) of Columbia; brother, Preston Hutt of Harford County; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 12 at 10:00 a.m. at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Rd., Pasadena, MD 21122. Interment private.
