David Francis Carey, 64, a lifelong resident of Pasadena died on April 29, 2024 at his residence with his loving family at his side.
He was born on February 7, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Richard Francis and Mary E. Carey.
Mr. Carey started working at the age of 15 making donuts, finding a passion for working at such a young age and still graduating from high school was one of his treasured accomplishments. He continued working going on to become a machinist and eventually a Quality Inspector for Technology Inc. for the last 2 years.
In his free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, hanging out with all of his friends, watching football and baseball (especially the Ravens and Orioles). He also cherished the memory of marrying his wife Sharon in his second home of Ireland.
Mr. Carey is preceded in death by his father Richard Francis Carey, his mother Mary E. Redding, his step-father Millard Redding, and his brother Wayne Carey.
He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Sharon Carey, his daughter Kristina Carey, his step-daughters Shannon and Ciara, his grandchildren Jayden Jay Maxwell and Portia Mila O'Reilly, as well as extended family and friends.
Friends may visit on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Stallings Funeral Home where a memorial service will begin at 7:30 pm.
