David Lee Acosta of Denton MD passed away Thursday, August 19,2021. He was just 60 years old.
David was born on July 25, 1961 in Baltimore MD, the son of the late Charles Acosta and Jennie "Musto" Acosta. He attended high school at Glen Burnie Sr High. After high school, David began working for Anne Arundel County where he repaired and maintained Police and Emergency vehicles. In 1987, David began a ten year career as a FedEx courier and eventually he went into business as a general contractor. Building and construction were second nature to him. He had a love for woodworking and was very talented with his hands.
David was a husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, cousin, as well as a great friend and neighbor to many. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Lesniewski. David is survived by his wife Cyndi Acosta, two daughters, Samantha (Josh)Diffendall, Brittany Acosta, one son, David Acosta Jr, two grandchildren, Ashlyn Mitchell & Adam Diffendall, two brothers, Sonny (Charles)Acosta, Wayne Acosta, and five sisters, Rose Hoffa, Gerry Green, Virginia Burton, Helen Acosta and Donna Acosta.
Family and friends may visit on Saturday, September 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Rd., Pasadena, MD 21122 where a memorial service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Interment private.
