It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Danielle Patricia Serp, a cherished daughter, mother, sister, and friend, on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025. Born on Sunday, December 18th, 1977, in Baltimore, Maryland, Danielle lived a life full of kindness, compassion, and dedication to helping others.
Danielle was a bright light in the lives of those who knew her. She attended Chesapeake Senior High School, where she formed many friendships and began to cultivate her passion for helping others. Known for her immense generosity and positivity, she spent much of her time involved in rescuing Pit Bulls, an endeavor close to her heart. Her love for the beach and her efforts to make the world a better, kinder place were reflected in her everyday actions, as she had a remarkable ability to touch the lives of all she met.
Danielle leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory in their hearts forever. She is survived by her devoted mother Debbie Heinecke, and stepfather William Heinecke; her beloved children: Ivy Phillips and Noah Phillips; her dear sister Alexandra Serp, and her treasured grandchildren: Cameron and Carter. She is also survived by her uncles Ernie Wilkinson and Patrick Wilkinson, her aunt Sally Haynes, and an extended family who adored her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her father Norman Serp, and her sister Melissa R. Serp, who she has now joined in eternal rest.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28th, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland. A memorial service to celebrate Danielle's life will follow at the same location, officiated by Tim Walters, beginning at 5:00 pm.
Danielle's immense heart and gentle spirit will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her legacy will continue to inspire those she loved, eternally resting in our hearts as a beacon of love and kindness.
