Daniel Rice Obituary

Daniel William Rice, 58, a 25 year resident of Pasadena and formerly of Catonsville, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Hospice of the Chesapeake in Pasadena.

Mr. Rice was born September 6, 1963 in Baltimore, MD to the late Herbert and Catherine Rice. He worked for Pope Flooring as an installer for 25 years. He enjoyed watching the Ravens and Orioles games and the game show network. He was described as a quiet spirit who was kind and appreciative. The staff at the hospital would often refer to him as a "model patient" as he was always so grateful for the care he received during his stay.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Rice is preceded in death by his brother, Herbert Rice, Jr. and sister, Deborah Brennan. He is survived by his sister, Sharon Appleby and her husband Clinton, nephews, Dr. Brian Appleby, Eric Brennan and niece, Dr. Michele May.
