Daniel "Danny" William Bradley, Sr., a beloved resident of Pasadena, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on July 13th, 1947, in Baltimore, Maryland, Daniel spent his entire life in the community he cherished.
A devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, Danny is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Carrie Bradley; his daughter, Daniell Sanchez, and her partner Brendan Vechery; his son, Daniel Bradley, II, and his wife Heather Bradley; step-son, Bryan Whetzel, and step-daughter, Hope Edwards. He also leaves behind his siblings: Sallie M. Long, Marian L. Miller, Donna M. Ford, Peggy A. Williams, Karen L. Malott, and Clifton E. Bradley, along with numerous nieces and nephews who he adored. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Lee Bradley, his mother, Margaret Mary Bradley, and his former wife, Leeanna Bradley.
Danny served his country with honor as a Boatswain Mate in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and became disabled as a result of his service. A proud veteran, he was a member of the American Legion #175, VFW Post #2462, and the Fleet Reserve in Annapolis.
Known for his love of stewed tomatoes, crabs and half-and-half crab soup, Danny enjoyed fishing, watching MASH, visiting Ft. Smallwood Park, dining with family, and frequenting Fisherman's Inn. An avid thrifter known for his knack of bartering, he found joy in helping others—always having a connection for everything and everyone.
Throughout his life, Danny's love for his family, particularly his close relationship with his sisters, was unwavering. He will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and his ability to touch the lives of everyone he met.
Family and friends are invited to honor Danny's life during an afternoon visitation on Monday, March 30th, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and an evening visitation from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland. Additional visitations will be held on Tuesday, March 31st, 2026, during the same hours. Funeral services will take place at Stallings Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026, at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Danny's memory may be made to the Wounded Warriors project, an organization close to his heart.
Danny's legacy, filled with love and service, will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
