Dale Albert Brown, Sr., 82, a lifelong resident of Brooklyn Park died on December 29, 2023 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
He was born on March 22, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Elisha and Thelma Brown.
Mr. Brown, Sr. was still currently employed as a machinist for Gischel Machine in Pasadena where he has worked for 61 years.
He was a member of the Salt Water Fisherman Association and the A.A. Neighborhood Association.
In his free time he enjoyed Fishing, hunting and crabbing and visiting his cabin in West Virginia. In his younger years he also liked to ride dirt bikes. Mr. Brown's favorite holiday was Halloween and he won his neighborhood decorating contest several times over the 55 years he lived in his home. Dale was loved by everyone he met because he was kind, giving and thoughtful and he would help anyone he met.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter Charlotte Potter and his grandson Michael Dale Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Teaka Brown; his son Dale Brown, Jr.; his daughter Kimberly Dawn Frantz; his sisters Beverly Root and Phyllis Liggett; his grandchildren Amanda Raynor, Tiffany Schmidt, and Jeffrey Potter; and his great grandson Jett Edwin Raynor.
Friends may visit on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home where services will be heldon Saturday at 9:00 am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
