With heavy but rejoicing hearts we announce the passing of Cynthia Rulynn Kremann, who met her savior face to face on February 23, 2025. Born on August 19, 1959, in Lynn, Massachusetts, Cynthia lived a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication to her family and community through living out her faith and being a friend to many.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Celia Yu, as well as her son-in-law, Jonathan Masser. She is survived by her loving husband, Timothy Kremann; cherished daughters, Beverly Weber, Lauren Jacobus, and Kimberly Masser; her loving siblings; sister Caroline Fijan (Bob); brother Michael Yu; and sister Sharon Ziesemer (Phil). Cynthia also leaves behind her wonderful sons-in-law, Jeremy Weber and Shane Jacobus; her five treasured grandsons, Anderson, Isaac, Paul, Peter, and Aaron; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who were like family to her.
After graduating as a Registered Nurse from Union Memorial Baltimore she worked as a neonatal nurse at the Anne Arundel Medical Center in downtown Annapolis. After marriage and her first child she continued her passion for pediatric care by working in two pediatrician offices. However, after the birth of her third child, Cynthia switched to her true calling, being a mother.
Her mothering passions naturally found expression in Christian hospitality. Cynthia found immense joy in cooking, especially for others, and was an active member of her church and Bible study groups. For example, for many years, her yearly Christmas open house celebration was the go-to event. Known for her caring, kind, and generous spirit, she was always ready to extend a helping hand to anyone in need, making those around her feel accepted and valued. Above all, her grandchildren were the lights of her life, and she poured her heart into nurturing them with love and wisdom.
Cynthia Rulynn Kremann was a remarkable woman whose warmth and compassion touched the lives of many. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
