**Ms. Butterfield's services have been re-scheduled for Tuesday, January 4 from 1-4 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 4:00 p.m.**
Cynthia Lynn Butterfield, 53, a lifelong resident of Pasadena, MD, died at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center on December 28, 2021, the same day as her father four years prior.
Ms. Butterfield was born on May 8, 1967 in Baltimore, MD to Mary Butterfield and the late Steven Butterfield, Sr. She graduated from Marley Glen Special Education School in 1988 and later worked as a server for numerous restaurants, including Roy Rogers and Sizzlers. Outside of work, Cynthia enjoyed watching Hallmark and Lifetime movies and listening to the Carpenters. She will be remembered as a happy-go-lucky person and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her father, Ms. Butterfield is preceded in death by her sister, Elaine Butterfield. She is survived by her loving mother, Mary Butterfield; Cynthia's partner, Michael Lloyd; siblings, Felicia Butterfield and Steven Butterfield, Jr.; her aunts, Katherine Kampe and Pauline Rogers and her family; several other aunts and uncles; and friends.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, January 4 from 1-4 p.m. at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Rd., Pasadena, MD 21122 where funeral services will begin at 4:00 p.m. Interment private.
In accordance with the most recent Anne Arundel County guidelines (see HERE), face coverings will be required while inside the funeral home.
