Charles "Charlie" Myers, Jr. Obituary

Charles Myers, a beloved husband, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on December 10th, 1946, in Baltimore, Maryland, Charles spent his formative years surrounded by the vibrant city life before settling in Pasadena, Maryland, where he resided for more than four decades.

Charles was a dedicated and hardworking man who built a lifelong career as an asbestos worker. He was a proud member of Union Local #24, where he devoted over 40 years of service before his retirement. Alongside his professional life, Charles co-owned Reverie Farms in Pasadena with his cherished wife, Sharon, for nearly 40 years, where they shared their love for animals and the outdoors.

A veteran who served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, Charles lived a life marked by commitment and honor. He carried these values into his community involvement, most notably as a passionate horseman involved with the Maryland Western Horse Association, the Appaloosa Horse Club, and the Quarter Horse Association.

In his younger years, Charles expressed his artistic spirit by playing the keyboard and singing in a band, captivating many with his angelic voice. His love for music and performance was matched by his enthusiasm for sports. He was a fervent fan of the Orioles, the Ravens, and the Maryland Terrapins, and enjoyed both playing and watching sports throughout his life.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Myers, who stood by his side through life's many adventures. He is also remembered by his sisters, Patricia Graham and Linda Myers, his brothers, Tom Myers and Keith Myers, and his sisters-in-law, Debbie Myers, Stacy Walker, and Margaret Scheper. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Franklin Myers Sr. and Ruth Myers, and his brother, Richard Myers.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Charles's life at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland, on Sunday, June 8th, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the animal rescue organization of your choice or Magothy United Methodist Church, honoring Charles’s lifelong affection for animals and his generous spirit.

Charles's memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
