Cecilia Borrelli

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Cecilia Borrelli, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, on Friday, June 20th, 2025. Cecilia passed away peacefully at Harbor Hospital under the care of Accent Care Hospice. She resided in Glen Burnie, Maryland for the past 54 years. Born on Wednesday, November 22nd, 1944, in Virginia, Cecilia lived a full and vibrant life dedicated to her family and community.

Cecilia was a devoted homemaker, whose love and care for her family were evident in everything she did. She cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. Cecilia is lovingly survived by her children: Anna Borrelli, Lisa Hargett, and John Borrelli; her sister, Ann Dec; and her brother, James Spears. She leaves behind nine cherished grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Cecilia was predeceased by her father, Julius Faison Spears; her mother, Mary Spears; and her beloved husband, John Borrelli. She was also a past member of the Moose, where she enjoyed forming lasting friendships and memories.

Beyond her family and community involvement, Cecilia found joy in gardening, cooking, and shopping. Her garden was always a testament to her love for nature, and her kitchen was a place of warmth and delicious aromas. Cecilia's hospitality and generous heart touched all those who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Cecilia's life during a Funeral Service to be held at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland, on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025, at 8:00 pm. An evening visitation will also be held on the same day at the funeral home, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Cecilia Borrelli leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion. Her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by eternal love.
