Cecelia May (Duvall) Bailey

Cecelia May Bailey, 85, a resident of Glen Burnie for over 50 years, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 13, 2024.     

Mrs. Bailey was born June 2, 1939 in wheeling, West Virginia to the late Donald and Mildred Russell. In her free time, Mrs. Bailey enjoyed bowling, gardening and tending to her beloved cat.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bailey is preceded in death by her only child Brenda Cowdery and brothers Robert Piatt, Martin Piatt III, Charles Piatt and Sister Nancy Piatt . 

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, William L. Bailey; Sisters Rose Stilling & husband Francis, Mildred Duvall & Husband Roland, and Madeline Grams, many nieces and nephews; four grandchildren Joshua, Benjamin, Adam, Laura and six great grandchildren.  

Friends and family may call Sunday, July 22nd from 1-3 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a service will be held at 3:00 pm. Interment will take place Monday, July 23rd at 10:45 am at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
