Cathy (Petree) Moore

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cathy Moore, a beloved resident of West Virginia, who left us on Sunday, March 9th, 2025. Cathy was a cherished mother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love.

Cathy is lovingly remembered by her father, Robert Petree, Sr.;  sons, Douglas Moore and Justin Moore (Kayla); and her siblings, Robert "Steve" Petree, Jr. (Melissa), Peggy Ballsoma (Marvin Jr.), along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family members whose lives she enriched throughout her lifetime. She is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Moore, Sr. and beloved mother, Cathy Petree.

Friends and family may call Friday, March 14th from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where all are invited to honor Cathy’s life at a Funeral Service, which will be held on Saturday, March 15th at 10:00 am. Interment will take place immediately following funeral services at Glen Haven Memorial Park.

Cathy will be dearly missed by all who knew her, yet her spirit will forever remain in our hearts. May she rest in peace.
