Carolyn Mary (Kane) Chambers

Carolyn Mary Chambers, 83, a lifelong resident of Maryland, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024. 

Mrs. Chambers was born January 16, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late James and Beulah Kane. She worked as an Associate for Baltimore Life Insurance Company for 10 years. In her free time, she loved to dance and loved listening to music. In her older years, she enjoyed going to the Senior Center and listening to the local bands play. She also thoroughly enjoyed going out to eat. Some of her local spots included Red Lobster, Golden Coral and Outback Steakhouse. She was a woman who had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Chambers is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Chambers; 4 siblings, James Kane, Jr., Clara Jean St. Martin, Nelson Kane and Donald Kane. She is survived by her children, Steven Chambers and his wife Laurie, Donna Chambers and Karen Rogers and her husband David; sister, Shirley Dungan; grandchildren, Nicholas Christy, Christopher Chambers, Steven Chambers, Brianna Chambers, Jaime Burkhead and Allyson Rogers. 

Friends and family may visit Friday, October 4th from 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a service will be held Saturday, October 5th at 11:00 am. Interment will take place immediately following the funeral service at Holy Cross Cemetery.
