Carlo Anthony Reitober Sr.

Carlo Anthony Reitober Sr., 87, a resident of Maryland for most of his life, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024 at University of Maryland in Baltimore. 

Mr. Reitober was born January 13, 1937 in New York, NY to the late Antonio and Evelyn Reitober. He worked as an online specialist with AT&T until his retirement. He was a dedicated member of St. Jane Frances Catholic Church since 1959. He was also an active member of the Buccaneer's Athletic Club, the Rivera Beach Baseball team and a troop leader for Boy Scout Troop 313. In his spare time he enjoyed Polka dancing at the Polish Home in Baltimore, walking his dogs, playing golf and watching his favorite sports teams, the Orioles and Ravens. Above all, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was described as being a happy person who loved to joke around. He will be missed by all who knew him. 

Mr. Reitober is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Evelyn Reitober. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 24 years, Elizabeth Reitober; children, Carlo Reitober, Jr., William Reitober (Tammy), Cynthia Smith (Francis), Elizabeth Jenkins, Sandra Higgins (Raymond), Karen Harrison, Jennifer Steerman (Wayne); grandchildren, Alisha, Nicole, Benjamin, Nicholas, Chelsea, Zachary, Emilie, Julia, David, Derek, Kimber, Haley, Ian, Kristen, Tiffany and Jeffrey, and 16 great grandchildren. 

Friends may call Friday, March 15th from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a service will be held at 4:00 pm. Interment is private .

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners children's hospital (HERE) or Boys town (HERE).
