Carl Kintop, Jr.

Carl Kintop Jr. was born on Thursday, September 26th, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland to Carl George Kintop Sr. and Evelyn M. Kintop. 

After graduating from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute (poly), Carl enlisted in  the Marine Corps.  After his discharge, he earned his bachelor's degree from The University of Maryland while working full-time for the Department of Defense.  Carl enjoyed coaching his boys in different sports growing up, and loved spending time on the water fishing & crabbing.  After retirement he picked up the game of golf, enjoyed going to the Casinos for some slots, spending time with long-time friends, and most importantly being a Pop Pop. 

Mr. Kintop is preceded in death by his father, Carl Kintop Sr., his mother Evelyn Kintop, his wife of 49 years, Karen Kintop, and his sister Carole Springer.  He is survived by his sons, Kevin Kintop & wife Dawn, of Grasonville, MD and Christopher Kintop & wife Tina, of Denton, MD; Grandchildren Alex Pitner & wife Kiana, Tyler Kintop, Sarah Kintop, and Madison Kintop;  Great-grandson Kainalu Pitner; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday July 2, 2024 at Stallings Funeral Home, Pasadena, Maryland from 3pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm where funeral services will take place on Wednesday July 3, 2024 at 11am. Interment is private.
