Calvin K. Emerson

Calvin K. Emerson, 96, a 14 year resident of Anne Arundel County and formerly of Baltimore, MD, died on October 14, 2020 at Loving Heart Assisted Living in Crownsville.

Mr. Emerson was born on June 21, 1924 in Erie, PA to the late John and Mary Emerson. He worked as a Route Salesman for Coca-Cola for over 30 years before retiring in the late 1980s. Outside of work, Calvin was a dedicated member of Mt. Vernon Methodist Church in Baltimore and enjoyed participating in church activities and playing and listening to music.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Emerson is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Mary L. Emerson; 1 son-in-law, Jim O'Dell; and 6 siblings . He is survived by his daughters, Joan E. O'Dell and Ann M. Hein (Dave); sisters, Elma Huff and Carole Russell; 1 grandson, Ethan Hein; and 1 godson, Rob Wiseman.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 20 at 1:00 p.m. at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075. The service will also be livestreamed on the obituary page and on Stallings Funeral Home's Facebook page (click HERE).  Please be aware that, due to county-mandated COVID-19 restrictions, Stallings Funeral Home is only allowing 60 people in the building at a time and face coverings must be worn while inside.
