Brenda Leona (Carter) Chambers

Brenda Leona Chambers, 71, a lifelong resident of Anne Arundel County, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023 in her daughter's home after a lengthy illness. 

Mrs. Chambers was born November 3, 1951 in Baltimore, MD to the late Russell and Patricia Carter. She graduated from Lansdowne High School in 1969. She was a dedicated caregiver that worked briefly for The Department of Aging and devoted her life caring for her family and most importantly, her disabled sister, Cindy. She loved reminiscing about her favorite family memories and enjoyed shopping. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Chambers is preceded in death by her beloved son, Donald "Donny" W. Chambers, III and brother, Russell E. Carter, Jr. She is survived by her ex-husband, Donald W. Chambers, Jr. whom she remained friends with, daughter, Christene Minnick (Ron); sisters Betty Marie Sharman (Michael) and Cynthia Ann Carter; grandchildren Jordan Fitzgerald (Sean), Madison Graczyk, Eathan Chambers, Athena Terribile (Ryan), Mariah Najda (Patrick) and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit Tuesday, November 7th from 4-5 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a service will begin at 5 pm. Interment is private.
