Blanche Hedgepeth

Blanche Hedgepeth, 83, a 20 year resident of York, Pennsylvania and formerly of Pasadena, Maryland, died at her home on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.

Mrs. Hedgepeth was born on Sunday, February 12th, 1939 in Portsmith, Ohio to the late Charles and Bessie Brown. She retired as a Supervisor with M. Shaivitz & Sons after over 37 years of service. Outside of work, she was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Pennsylvania and Grace Baptist Church in Florida. While she was living in Pasadena, Blanche was also a member of Granite Baptist Church and enjoyed teaching Sunday School classes there. In her spare time, she and her husband loved to travel.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hedgepeth is preceded in death by 5 siblings. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 1/2 years, Billie Hedgepeth; son, William D. Hedgepeth; daughter, Michelle Fox; 6 grandchildren, Dustin, Amanda, Brittany, DJ, Dylan, and Liam; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, April 13th, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Rd., Pasadena, MD 21122 where funeral services will take place at 5:00 pm. Interment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Maryland, 1850 York Rd. Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
