Bernard Kreppel Obituary

Bernard Gaitley Kreppel, 59, a lifelong resident of Maryland, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

Mr. Kreppel was born May 1, 1964 in Baltimore, MD to the late William and Kathleen Kreppel. Mr. Kreppel was a Volunteer Auxiliary Fireman at Lakeshore Firehouse, Station 20. He worked as a Solar Inspector for a private company. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking, attending events at the firehall, watching drag racing and going to the track, and taking trips to Ocean City. He loved music and in his younger years, he was a drummer. An avid animal lover, his family lovingly referred to him as the "animal whisperer". He was a kind man who would help anyone, even if he didn't know them. Above all, he was an excellent father and will be missed by his family.

Mr. Kreppel is survived by his wife of 20 years, Aileen Kreppel; son, Kevin Kreppel; 1 daughter; sister, Kim Schroyer and grandson, Brandyn Kreppel.

Services and interment are private.
