Barbra (Ashley) Young

Barbra Young, age 83, a 34 year resident of Millersville, died on May 8, 2021 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

She was born on April 28, 1938 in Shinnston, WV to the late Elizabeth and Raymond L. Ashley.

Mrs. Young was a homemaker who very much enjoyed spending time with her family.  She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and was well known for making her friendship cakes.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Young is preceded in death by her husband John "David" T.D. Young, Sr. and her brother Robert Lee Ashley.

She is survived by her children; John Young, Jr., Tony Young, Alan Young, Jeffrey Young, Belinda Blades, and Karen Young and their families to include 55 grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Louis Faye Ashley, Linda Lou Martin, Mary Alice Scheme, and Donald Dale Ashley.

Please be aware that, due to county-mandated COVID-19 restrictions, face coverings and social distancing are required when inside the building.
