Barbara Till

Barbara C. Till, a beloved member of the Glen Burnie community, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the age of 81. Born on Friday, July 9, 1943, in Maryland, Barbara lived a life filled with love, dedication, and passion.

Barbara was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, and cherished sister. She is survived by her son, Michael Till, her daughter, Sandra L. McCubbin, and her sister, Jackie Wagner. Barbara's legacy is also carried on by her eight grandchildren—Ryan, Derek, Danny, Casey, Steve, Brandon, Chris, and Timmy—as well as her ten great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her later years.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Martin Joseph Till, her father, John "Hen" Henry Harold, her mother, Catherine Harold, and her daughter, Holly Till.

For over 20 years, Barbara worked as a receptionist in a doctor’s office, providing care and warmth to everyone she encountered. She retired in 2022, leaving behind a legacy of friendship and dedication.

Barbara had a zest for life and found joy in the simplest of pleasures. She was an avid bird watcher and a devoted Ravens fan, often spending her Sundays cheering on her favorite football team. She enjoyed challenging herself with crossword puzzles and found solace on the sandy shores of the beach, a place that held a special significance for her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Barbara's life at a visitation on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with interment at St. Mary of the Mill Cemetery.

Barbara C. Till will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit, laughter, and wisdom will forever be remembered and cherished.
