Anthony Joseph Dumsha passed away on February 26, 2024 at University of Maryland Medical Center. Known as "Tony" to all who knew and loved him, he was born on June 9, 1957, in Baltimore to Joseph Anthony Dumsha, Sr. and Mary "Dolly" Cortina Dumsha. Tony has been a lifetime resident of Glen Burnie and Solley, Maryland, and graduated from Northeast High School Vocational Tech program in 1975. His exceptional mechanical and engineering skills made Tony an asset to his employers, including The Farmer's Coop and Sears as well as to the many individuals who relied on Tony to keep their lawn mowers and boat engines running in top form.
Tony was passionate in his boating life on Stony Creek and he enjoyed crabbing, fishing and going full throttle on his Donzi Hornet III whenever possible. Tony is preceded in death by his father, Joseph A. Dumsha, Sr. and youngest brother, Timothy Dumsha. He is survived by his mother, Maria Cortina Dumsha, sons, Robert Wayne Frederick and Michael James and his daughter, Rachel James. He is also survived by brothers, Joseph (Deborah) Dumsha, Jr., Frank (Michelle) Dumsha, Christopher (Linda) Dumsha, and Kelly (Stacey) Dumsha, as well as sisters Mary-Jo (Mike) Mahon, Cynthia (Daniel) Albers, and Nanci (Thomas) Gardner.
Family and friends may visit on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024 at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, Maryland, 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Monday, March 4th, 2024, 11:00 to 11:45 am, with funeral services at 11:45 am. Interment private.
