Annette Bowen Obituary

Annette C. Bowen, 93, a resident of Millersville, MD, died on March 11, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Bowen was born on February 24, 1927 in Pasadena, MD to the late Charles and Margaret Bolm. She retired as a supervisor from the Department of the Army in 1992. Outside of work, she devoted herself to raising her family and enjoyed crocheting.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Edward A. Bowen, Sr.; daughter, Beverly Ann Bowen; and brother, Charles Bolm. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Bowen) Rattigan and Peggy (Bowen) Brown; son, Edward A. Bowen, Jr.; son-in-law, William Rattigan; girlfriend, Elaine Pepper; sisters, Clara (Bolm) Daniels and Barbara (Bolm) Steppe; 5 grandchildren, Stacey Barich, Jason Bowen, Edward Brown, John Brown, and Brittany Bowen; and 8 great-grandchildren.

In response to recent developments the Bowen family has chosen to keep services private in order to protect the health of family and friends.
