Anna Mary Magistrelli, 79, a resident of Pasadena, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Mrs. Magistrelli was born March 20, 1942 in Brockway, PA to the late Francis and Helen Caracciolo. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with her bachelors in Education. She then received her Master's equivalency from University of Maryland. She then worked as a teacher for Jacobsville Elementary from 1967-1987 and then at Chesapeake Bay Middle School until her retirement in 2003 after 40 years of service. She was a member of the Teacher Association. A devoted member to Our Lady of the Chesapeake, she was an active volunteer in the church, Mary's Center and the youth group. Donations can be made in her honor to Mary's Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed writing poetry and children's stories. She also liked to cook.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Magistrelli is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Magistrelli and sister Barbara Lescalleet. She is survived by her sons Daniel Magistrelli and his wife Angela, Mark Magistrelli and his wife Sandy, and Guido Magistrelli, daughters Liselle Vigna and her husband Mike, Cara Magistrelli, brother Francis Caracciolo, grandchildren Ian Dawson, Mary Magistrelli, Stewart, Crystal and Nikola Majerowicz, also great grandchildren Oona Dawson and Vivia Majerowicz.
Friends may call Thursday, April 22nd from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122. A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, April 23rd at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Chesapeake, 8325 Ventnor Road, Pasadena, MD 21122. Interment will take place at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
