Anna Elizabeth (Scharf) Cook

Anna Elizabeth Cook, 81, a 55 year resident of Pasadena, MD and formerly of the Riviera Beach area, died at her home on September 3, 2021.

Mrs. Cook was born on November 9, 1939 in Baltimore, MD to the late Charles and Blanche Scharf. She served for over 20 years with the Anne Arundel County Public School system, working with special needs children for the majority of that time. She held positions at the Marley Glen, Ruth Parker Eason, and George Cromwell Elementary Schools. Outside of work, Anna was a member of Our Lady of the Chesapeake Catholic Church and volunteered regularly at the Pasadena Senior Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, visiting Ocean City, traveling around the country, and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cook is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald "Cookie" Cook and brother-in-law, Earl Hill. She is survived by her companion, John Ronald Decker; son, David Cook and his wife, Peggy; daughter, Sandra Nickles and her husband, Bob; sisters, Evelyn Miller and her husband DeWayne, and Tink Hill; and 4 grandchildren, Bradley and Ryan Cook and Vincent and Andrew Nickles.

A graveside service will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery on September 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM
