Amaury Batista Aguilera, 46, a 15 year resident of Pasadena, MD and formerly of Baltimore, passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 16, 2020.
Mr. Aguilera was born on January 15, 1974 in Holguin, Cuba to Ramón and Lilia Batista Aguilera. For the past 8 years, he worked for DeVere Home Insulation as a Field Supervisor. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, working out, boxing, and carpentry - he could build and fix anything. Amaury was also a skilled Taekwondo student, having obtained a Black Belt after receiving a scholarship from Cuba.
Mr. Aguilera is survived by his parents, Ramón and Lilia Batista Aguilera; his beloved wife of 10 years, Alicia Batista; daughter, Savannah Batista; and son, Amaury Batista and his brother Alexis Aguilera.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, May 26 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Rd., Pasadena, MD 21122. However, due to the county-mandated COVID-19 restrictions, no more than 10 people can visit at one time. If you plan to attend, please consider keeping your visit short to allow others to pay their respects as well.
