Albert "Al" Freeburger Jr, a dedicated family man and beloved member of the Pasadena community, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, on Thursday, January 23, 1947, Albert spent his formative years in his birthplace before moving to Pasadena, where he proudly called home for the past 40 years.
Albert was known for his strong work ethic, dedicating many years of his life as a warehouse worker. His commitment and reliability made him a respected colleague and friend among those he worked with.
In his earlier years, Albert served his country with honor in the United States Army, a role he held with immense pride.
Albert was an avid sports fan whose heart belonged to the Baltimore Ravens and the Colts. Weekend games were a cherished ritual often accompanied by robust discussions and spirited cheering. His love for sports was rivalled only by his passion for fishing, a hobby that brought him immense joy and tranquility.
Albert's life was enriched by the love of his family. He is survived by his devoted spouse, Jane Freeburger, and his loving sons, Robert "Bob" Freeburger and Brian Freeburger. Albert was also a proud grandfather to Leah, Benjamin, and Corey Freeburger and three step-grandchildren Kelsy, Kristen and Tylerand 6 great-grandchildren whom he adored deeply.
Preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Myrtle Freeburger, Albert leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty. His warmth and kindness touched all who knew him, and his absence will be profoundly felt by his family and countless friends.
Albert Freeburger will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
