Adam "Butch" David Davis, 77, a lifelong resident of Maryland, died at his home on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.
Mr. Davis was born on Friday, July 21st, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland. He served honorably in the United States Army and later in life became a professional locksmith working for the State of Maryland. He was a member of the American Legion and a co-leader for Girl Scout Troop 1189. Adam enjoyed his work as a locksmith as well as fishing and crabbing with his children and grandchildren, but especially loved spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a helpful man who lived to do things for other people.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Susan Davis. He is survived by his daughters, Buffie Hopkins and Dusty Freit; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Lease, Tiffany Lolmaugh, Keith Freit; 4 great-grandchildren, Chloe, Mark, Orion, and Aiden; and 2 step-great-grandchildren, Jillian and Chris.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, April 12th, 2022 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Stallings Funeral Home where funeral services will take place on Wednesday, April 13th, 2022 at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
