- Richard “Dick” F. Bowen, Sr., 75, a resident of Pasadena for 40 years and previously of Baltimore died on July 13, 2012 at his residence.He was born in Baltimore, MD on January 31, 1937 to the late Leslie and Thelma Bowen.Mr. Bowen retired in the mid 1990’s from the Baltimore Glass Company in Baltimore after over 40 years of service.He was a life member of Summerset Rod and Gun ClubHis six daughters were the love of his life. He enjoyed watching his son, Richard, play baseball and hunting deer with his late son “Dicky”.Mr. Bowen is preceded in death by his wife Regene Bowen, his son Dicky F. Bowen, Jr., his brothers Petty and Bob Bowen, his granddaughter Shannon Engelke, and his son in law Lester Engelke.He is survived by his sons Joshua Bowen and Richard Inman both of Pasadena, his daughters; Sharon Engelke of Texas, Donna Szuba of DE, Cindy Smith, Susan Thompson, Dawn Blueford, and Jennifer Lippold all of Pasadena, his brothers; Lolly Bowen of PA, and Luke Bowen of MD, his sister Sue Dunkerly of MD, his daughter in law Jenny Bowen of Pasadena, 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.Friends may call on Monday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, PA where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM.
