Elizabeth “Betty” Carver Zdunczyk, 81, a resident of Baltimore County and previously of Palm Bay, FL died on June 26, 2012.
She was born on November 24, 1931 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Burkett and Georgie Carver.
Ms. Zdunczyk was a teacher in Anne Arundel County for over 20 years retiring from Glen Burnie High School in the early 1990's.
She was a member of the Easter Star Woodlawn Chapter 101, the Glen Burnie Moose, and Past President of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Palm Bay and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Palm Bay. Ms. Zdunczyk was also Mrs. Maryland in 1953 to 1954. She was also an avid traveler.
She is survived by her son Earl Johnson, III of Pasadena, her daughters; Cheryl Johnson of Baltimore and Rita Snyder of Pasadena, 4 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, PA where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment Glen Haven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
