Gerald McCombs Obituary

Gerald Clyde McCombs, 90, a resident of Pasadena for 62 years and formerly of Brooklyn, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 at Harbor Hospital.

Mr. McCombs was born July 17, 1933 to the late Clyde and Edna McCombs in Faith, North Carolina. He served honorably in the Army between 1953 - 1955. He then went on to work at Westinghouse as an Electrician until his retirement in the mid 1990's after 30 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion in Glen Burnie and enjoyed woodworking, being outdoors and working on his car in his spare time.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McCombs is preceded in death by his brother, Lane McCombs and sister, Glenna Ludwig. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary Jane McCombs; daughter, Pamela Morgan of New Windsor, MD; daughter, Theresa Sweeney and her husband Tom of Sykesville, MD; sister, Frances Crossett of Faith, NC; and grandchildren, David, Laura, Emily and her husband Matt, Andrew, Amanda and her husband Zach, Omi and Stephen.

Services and interment are private.
