| Ahmed Osman | On 20 March 1998 Mark Hardisty and I graduated together from the NWA Res Academy along with a total of about 60 colleagues. We worked together until he left to work for the courts, as one family and as so many have said before me we got constant updates of his wife and daughter. At one time I used to say every other sentence Mark started was "my daughter did so and so yesterday". Or he would say "my daughter and I are going to..." Alex we did not meet but you must be very proud to have had a father like Mark. He was a true gentleman and a very good friend. A little story, he drove a pick up to work for a long time and one day as we were talking he said he wanted to sell it. So I said I will buy it I do need a vehicle to haul stuff sometimes. His answer as he looked straight at me was "I will not sell that car to a friend". He said I will only sell it to someone that knows how to tinker with automobiles. He grew much taller in my eye from that moment on. Mark demonstrated the highest work ethics and could build a rapport with his customers in a heartbeat. He was quick with a joke with customers and co workers alike, and that radiant smile was infectious. It is very sad to lose such a great husband, father, brother and friend so soon but because he touched so many on us in such a positive way we take consolation that he is in a better place. Rest in peace Mark. Ahmed Osman Delta Airlines MSP Res. |
